About

I am currently a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, working with Randall Kamien on questions with geometric roots in soft condensed matter physics. I am also at the arXiv! Previously, I worked with Randy and Geneviève Dion at the Center for Functional Fabrics, where I studied the geometric underpinnings of of knitted materials. I received my PhD from Harvard Physics, where I worked with L. Mahadevan on patterns and geometric singularities in sheets and shells. I have broad interests in applied geometry and topology, biological and machine learning, visualization and digital art, analog art, music, and movement.
